The newest publication from Dr. Amos Jones, Jr., and Bethlehem Book Publishers, Inc., insists that the
most genuine form of the Gospel Story of the Christian Faith was brought to the West on slave ships by
Africans from the Western nations of the continent of Africa. Just as Christ Jesus was born in the stench
and stink of a cow stable because there was no room for him in the inn, so was the pristine version of
the Gospel of Jesus Christ borne to the West in the stink and stench of slave ships by Sable Souls of
Africa who were forced to live bound in their own urine and fecal matter. He argues that other corrupt
versions of the Gospel Story were used for the political and economic advantage of the Caucasian
church and for the sustenance of the enslavement of Africans. Dr. Jones’ interest is to advance the truth
of the Gospel Story and the involvement of Black people in its preservation, even so much as to be
willing to die for Christ and the advancement of His Gospel.
